WiseMind Yoga is a boutique and co teaching studio specializing in development of custom programs which support clients through a mixture of both traditional yoga (physical practice - Asana, breathwork - Pranayama and Mindful & Visualization meditation) and non-traditional yoga which introduces the concept of yoga psychology (techniques such as: soul work - identifying and changing unhealthy behavior patterns = Samskara in Sanskrit and family of origin - identifying root cause of behavior patterns based on lineage, etc.)

Based on the Founder’s 15 years of previous Corporate Experience, WiseMind Private Sessions focus on helping stressed out overachievers and perfectionists train the brain to not use all or nothing thinking patterns, negative self talk (“inner critic”) and instead use Mindfulness Principles, Yoga Psychology, Self Compassion & Thought, Emotion, & Behavior Change Skills. This is a common pattern across many of the WiseMind Clients that we currently help through the process of transformation.

We help clients create more inner peace by delivering personal development, stress & life management as well as coping skills and positive mindset transformation through the medium of yoga psychology and meditation.

Meet Jennie Wise, Owner WiseMind Yoga

Jennie Wise, E-RYT 500 hr., YACEP Specialty in Yoga Psychology, Master of Health Science (MHS)

Jennie is known for her authentic, inspiring, safe, healing, non-judgmental teaching style and compassion-centered based philosophy living it both on and off the mat. Jennie seeks to help others live each moment mindfully & to thrive in life by nurturing & connecting to body, mind and soul & to step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

She is inspired to cultivate and teach a sense of self-awareness which leads to behavioral change and transformation. Change begins with a journey starting point of self-awareness, discovery, and inquiry… “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." – Psychologist Carl Jung.

Her Yoga Psychology training & life experience has taken her towards the next chapter of her Journey as the Owner and Founder of a boutique studio called WiseMind Yoga & Meditation (in former Firefly Hot + Flow location). She now partners with local counselors on Mindfulness Teen & other specific programs combining yoga & group coaching. Previously she was the Program Director & Owner of Firefly Hot + Flow Yoga. The traditional model of running studio classes will continue in conjunction with current vision & mission statement.

WiseMind: Psychology Term - Experiencing Integration & Intuition.

WiseMind is the active integration of Emotions & Logic.

WiseMind brings together the logic of reasonable mind and the sensitivity of emotional mind to a serene state of mind.

It assumes that you are capable of experiencing wisdom in your life or "Wise Mind." You will develop Wise Mind as you learn and practice yoga, meditation, and behavioral change skills.

Skills are learned abilities for behavioral transformation. With skills, you are able to change behaviors, emotions, and thinking patterns associated with problems in living, especially those causing you distress.

The WiseMind Program is based on Mindfulness, Yoga Psychology, & Meditation skills.

Lifelong Teacher & Student

Jennie is service oriented providing community classes and KARMA yoga projects & fundraisers such as 4 Paws for Emily at Hope Church & Hope Church College Ministry & most recently Pray with Your Body – Community Workshop & Holy Yoga Flow.

It is important to Jennie to continue her Yoga & Meditation studies as a lifelong student and teacher. Jennie is close to 1000 hours of Specialty training, when the average for most yoga teachers is 200 hours. Received RYT 500 Master’s Level Certification in Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, & Slow Flow lineage from Jonny Kest Life Power Yoga. Focused on continuous philosophical education & specialty certifications, including Spirituality of Yoga which included a 95 Hour Holy Yoga under founder Brooke Boon in Phoenix, AZ. Jennie has completed RYT 300 level Yoga Psychology specialty training in Mindfulness, Meditation, Neuroscience of Yoga, Psychology of Chakras & Koshas and the study of conscious based relationships based on yoga psychology in Los Angeles, CA.

Spiritual Warrior Yoga

In March 2018, Jennie completed her first RYS 200 Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) – WiseMind Spiritual Warrior Yoga Academy focused on the spirituality of yoga, transformation of self, living your yoga off your mat, and living your life purpose (Dharma in Sanskrit). Jennie is also an E-200 and YACEP providing continuing education hours for existing yoga teachers.

In April 2018, Jennie developed a WiseMind DBT + Yoga small support group program to teach life and stress management and relationship communication skills, along with retraining the brain to control thoughts, emotions and behaviors through WiseMind Middle Path skills, Meditation & Yoga, Mindfulness (Core of DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Transformation). Jennie also led a Cognitive Behavioral Transformayion (CBT) Yoga & Meditation group in 2016-2017.
